Yamaha 350li Seascooter Review

Sea scooters are becoming increasingly more popular, and Yamaha has one of the best on the market with its 350li Yamaha seascooter. This article will review Yamaha’s seascooter, in order to help you decide if it is right for you.

Yamaha is known for creating high quality products, and this seascooter is no exception. It has some pretty cool features which you can read about below along with more important details.

Yamaha 350li Seascooter Review

The Yamaha seascooter 350li offers a great way to explore the underwater world. It has received positive ratings for its innovative design, durability and high performance. It is very powerful with a lot of torque for speed control and can be used by experienced divers and beginners.

How fast is the Yamaha 350li Seascooter?

When it comes to seascooters, spead is almost always one of the first questions asked. The Yamaha 350li Seascooter can reach an underwater speed of 3.7 miles per hour.

The 350li has three different speed gears that a rider can choose from. This is important because it allows riders to switch to lower speeds and save battery when needed.

The 350li features a 22.2V Lithium battery that typically lasts for 75 minutes underwater. It usually takes around 4 to 6 hours for the seascooter to reach full charge. A really cool feature about the 350li is that it has an accurate battery level light that tells you how much battery is left.

The battery is replaceable, and a new 22.2V lithium battery usually costs around $700.

Weight?

The Yamaha 350li Seascooter weighs 19 pounds and has a length of 24 inches. Due to its weight and size, I would recommend only using the 350li if you are at least 13 years old and have experience swimming.

Maneuverability

The 350li has been complimented for its hull that is able to maintain buoyancy and balance by allowing water to enter and exit the seascooter while underwater. Once the seascooter leaves the water, the water is drained and the seascooter automatically floats. The high quality buoyancy is great because it allows the rider to enjoy the views around them instead of focusing on trying to balance.

The 350li can reach depths of up to 130 feet, which is the deepest any Yamaha seascooter can go at the time of this writing.

Camera mount

The 350li has a camera mount that is compatible with all go pro cameras. Other underwater cameras that have the same mount system as the go pro can also fit on the seascooter.

Handlebar

Handlebars are also extremely important when evaluating a seascooter. After all, a riders hands will be on the handlebar the entire time while you are underwater, so it is important to have a comfortable handlebar. The 350li has been praised for having a comfortable handlebar and a convenient trigger system that allows for smooth handling.

How much does the Yamaha 350li Seascooter cost?

At the time of this writing, the Yamaha 350li Seascooter costs $1,195. This places the Yamaha 350li Seascooter as one of the most expensive seascooter on the market.

Cheapest place to buy Yamaha 350li Seascooter

Right now, you can buy the Yamaha 350li Seascooter online from both Amazon and from the Yamaha product website. However, the Yamaha website says they are currently sold out of the 350li. The amazon store say that there are five left in stock.

On the amazon product page, it states that there is the option of getting a Limited Warranty on the product.

Should I buy the Yamaha 350li Seascooter?

If money is not a barrier, the Yamaha 350li Seascooter is a great seascooter and I recommend buying it. However, there are plenty of other seascooter models that cost less than $600, so if you are trying to save money I suggest checking out cheaper seascooters. When it comes to power and durability, the Yamaha 350li Seascooter is one of the best.
